Static Inline

Pipeline Motionless Mixer

It comprise of three critical components

1. End Connection

2. Internal Mixing Elements

3. Mixer Housing

  • Mixrite static mixer consists of modular elements placed in pipe housing with suitable end connection at either ends, and enclosed by a thermal control jacket [Optional] with inlet and outlet connections wherever sensitive heat transfer applications are involved.
  • All incoming fluid streams follow a geometric progression flow pattern, undergoing flow division, flow reversal and radial mixing through micro-scale turbulence within modular elements resulting in complete uniformity and homogeneity of the mixed process fluids at the outlet.
  • The mixing action in Static Mixer is governed by the geometry of internal elements, profile of the elements and their positioning, which is based on the specific process requirements. These mixers utilize the potential and Kinetic energy of the continuous flowing fluids to accomplish mixing.
  • Static Mixer provides complete, efficient and predictable residence time control for mixing of solids, liquids and gases in any combination - under laminar, transitional as well as turbulent flow conditions.

Configuration & Flow Pattern:

Based on the application and fluids to be mixer, Static Mixers are designed with varied internal elements to achieve efficient mixing at optimal pressure drop. Different mixing element geometry offer varied performance based on the application and transport properties of fluids in consideration.
The Length of Mixer and number of mixing elements is decided by Mixrite based on application and flow regime.
Static Mixer can be installed in any position namely, Horizontal , Vertical as wel as inclined.

Salient Features of a Static Motionless Mixer aka Static Inline Mixer includes:

End Connections:

Mixrite Static Mixers are available in all sizes and with different end connections namely,

  • Flanged,
  • Screwed,
  • IDF Heads

to suit the application under consideration and existing pipeline specifications.

These Mixers are available in various material of construction namely,

  • 316 SS, 304 SS, Carbon Steel, Titanium, Monel, Hsteallow, Polypropylene, Polytetrafluoro ethylene [Teflon], Polyvinyl Chloride, Fiber Reinforced Plastic, PP/FRP, HDPE and other special metallurgy to suit process operating fluids.

Static Mixers are becoming more popular as process industry is moving towards continuous online configuration worldwide.

Some typical applications of the Static Inline Mixer are:

  • Blending,
  • Heat Exchange,
  • Emulsification,
